The sitting milestone is my absolute favorite with babies. Parents love it too because baby can finally start to sit unassisted and play with toys, babies love it because they don't have to constantly be on their back or tummy anymore, and I love it because it's so cute to photograph, babies tend to smile easily at this stage, and it's before they start trying to crawl away, haha!
Mr {C} was just the absolute cutest at his sitting milestone photo session. He was curious about everything around him and had fun bouncing to the beat of his favorite song. Check out some favorites from the session!

Miss {L} turns 2! Sun Prairie child photographer
This sweetheart has been in front of my camera since she was a newborn. I even got to see her every 3 months for her first year. Now she isn't even a baby anymore but a full fledged toddler! Her momma summed it up right saying "She's a ball of energy". She was so much fun during her shoot and even though she was super busy, she listened extremely well and super smiley :) I hope to see her and her family again for some fall family pictures in October!

Sun Prairie portrait photographer - Our Hawaiian Vacation
I have been sitting on these photos for months meaning to put them in a blog post to share them. At the end of January our family went to Hawaii with my parents, sister and niece. This is usually an annual thing, however this may have been our last trip :( While there I wanted to get lots of photos of the girls, though they were less then thrilled so we didn't go scoop out locations as much as I wanted, but instead used what was around us. Still worked! My favorite photos though are our family photos done at a beach called "Slaughterhouse Beach" in Maui, great name, huh! Haha. Here's some favorites from our shoot.
I also did a min session of my niece since she had just turned 9!
Here are some more from other mini sessions I had with the girls. P.s. shooting on the beach when the sun sets over the ocean is HARD. Sun was super harsh all the way till sunset!

It's always fun when I get to shoot extended family sessions, especially when it's on a family member's property. That means the pictures hold that much more meaning to the family, which I love. This family sure entertained me during the whole shoot. Such funny and witty people I tell ya! Makes for a fun night of shooting! Sun Prairie family photographer - Family of 4 fall photos
As a Sun Prairie, WI photographer, shooting in October is my absolute FAVORITE! There is so much beauty in the fall colors and textures. I was thrilled the colors lingered awhile longer this year. It is depressing when a big rain or wind comes through and takes those leaves off sooner then expected. This year, there was still some color coming into November! Pray that happens next year too!
This family is always so fun to shoot. The boys are so friendly and they always have a lot to tell me about. We always have fun at their sessions!
