I really wanted to do a separate blog post for all of my fall mini's but I just couldn't. I only had 4 left so they are getting clumped together, sorry guys! I love all of these families and I love that they choose me every year to photograph their families. Sun Prairie family photographer - The {B} family - Fall session

I hate that I'm so behind on blogging in that I haven't even blogged all my fall sessions from 2016. OOOPS! Ok, trying to do it now! I have photographed this family for the past 4 years I believe and I think this was their "sweet spot year". We have had some challenging sessions in the past (cold weather with 6 week old, a tumble down a hill right before the session, another chilly year, and just a year where little brother was NOT in the mood for pictures). This year, everyone rocked the session and it was one of my favorites from the whole season (also thankful the sun decided to pop out that night!).

Sun Prairie Baby photography - Miss {K} is 10 months old!

This sweet girl came into the studio and I was very excited to try some new props and outfits on her. She wasn't too sure of the whole photo shoot thing, but she was so adorable, it didn't matter that she didn't get me huge smiles throughout the whole session. Sometimes my favorite pictures are the straight faced ones :)

Sun Prairie newborn photographer - Baby {L}

Technically I can't call this sweet baby girl a newborn as she was 6 weeks old when I saw her, but she mostly slept like a newborn and was tiny like one :) When her mom contacted me while I was on vacation trying to get a session booked, I was scared she'd book someone else since I wasn't returning to Wisconsin for another week. But she held off and waited for me! I'm so glad she did because little {L} was just precious! I definitely didn't do a lot of my normal "posing" like I do with 1-2 week old, but I just adore how this session turned out; especially since a 6 week old means the chance of getting a social smile with eye contact, which I got! (Mom said she started smiling the day before; talk about great timing!) Here are some favorites!

I met this couple early last winter when I did their engagement pictures. I was very excited when they notified me that they were expecting a baby! How fun to capture these meaningful moments as they grow from an engaged couple into a family of three. I am so excited to meet their baby girl who should be coming very soon!
