Mommy and Me spring blossoms Session- Sun Prairie child photographer
I am SO far behind on my blogging. I know I say it all the time but I NEED to get on this! I'm so happy when the week the apple blossoms bloomed, the weather was so nice! It was fun frolicking in the apple trees, having the kids swing on my wood swing, and have a momma read a story to her girls. We got so much in such a short amount of time and it was just perfect. Which are your favorites?

As a photographer in Sun Prairie, WI, we have some LONG winters. Once the trees start to bud in late April and the weather becomes warmer, I do a little happy dance! Even though May should be a warmish month, sometimes it can be super chilly. I've been lucky that when I had important family sessions scheduled (extended family sessions) that the weather cooperated for us. How great is this extended family? These sessions are always so important to get and are so special for the grandparents especially. I believe you can see the sweetness of these kiddos from their pictures. It was such fun session!

Madison Family Photographer - The {H} family in spring blossoms
Spring is such a beautiful season, isn't it? As a Sun Prairie family photographer, when the spring blossoms start popping out, I get warm fuzzies. For one, it's so darn pretty. But for two, it means that my outdoor season has kicked off! These pretty apple blossoms only bloom for about 1 week, so we have to be quick. Unfortunately last year, I think the flowers were on the trees for 1-2 days before a strong wind blew them all to the ground :(
This family was lucky to get to shoot at the Apple Orchard and we had a B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L night! Here are some favorites.

Baby and family photographer in Sun Prairie, WI - Mr. {R's} newborn session with family
I seriously love being a Sun Prairie Newborn photographer. Newborns are challenging, but so rewarding. This session was a little different though, as we focused on the family and siblings, instead of the typical posed newborn style I usually do. I was still able to get some sweet shots of newborn {R} but also get some shots of his big siblings too! Working with kids is one of the reasons I chose to be a family photographer and smelling these kids "stinky feet" to get some genuine smiles was probably the highlight of my day. This family is so beautiful, inside and out and I'm so glad I was able to capture these images for them. Hopefully they will have some displayed nice and big in their new home (yes, they moved in right before baby was born; which was supposed to be after since little man decided to show up 8 weeks early!) This family is pretty much a superhero family right now and they are rocking having 4 kids!

This baby girl is just so sweet! I was so excited to meet her since last year I had done her parents engagement pictures and then did their maternity session earlier this year. See that session HERE. She did so well and I went over the time I should have for a mini session because I had so much fun playing with her. In the beginning of her session, she was VERY awake and alert, yet very calm, and had the best eye contact I've ever seen from a newborn. It was fun to see those little peepers for a little bit and then she zonked out for me!
