Miss{L} is 6 months!
I am just thrilled that I get to see this cutie pie every three months. She is just the smiliest, sweetest, baby! Her parents also give me full reign in how to style the session and I always have so much fun with it! She modeled a new little romper for me too! I just love these little up-cycled rompers. I need to invest in more of them!
The {M} girls turn 6!
I have been SO bad with blogging this year. But I am making myself be better about it in 2016! I MUST! Haha. So to start, I'm going to catch up on the Fall 2015 sessions and then get into my current sessions. So be ready for a lot of blog posts!!!!!
FIRST UP are the {M} twins. These girls are just the sweetest and I've been fortunate enough to be able to photograph them since they were 3! They have eyes to DIE FOR and are just so sweet with each other. We had fun running in the field, jumping off my bench I brought and pulling each other in the wagon. I also love capturing their relationship with their mom; she always hops in for a few during their sessions. I think it's SO important to get in the pictures with our children!

As a photographer, I feel like time flies by even faster for me. When returning parents schedule a new photo session for their kids because they are 6 months, or 9 months or a year already, I always get caught off guard with how quick that time passed! I can't believe that Mr. {B} is already a year old. I seriously feel like I just photographed his momma's maternity session and did his newborn session. Kids need to stop growing up so fast!!!!!!! :) Well this little guy was all smiles for his session and certainly made my job easy. He is such a cutie too!
WI area Shoot Out - Sun Prairie and Madison Portrait Photographer
A couple weeks ago, I had the opportunity to travel down to the Milwaukee area and meet up with about 8 other photographers for a Shoot Out. What an amazing time! It was great to converse and connect with other photographers and do what we love! Two of the lovely ladies hosted the Shoot Out and found 3 newborn models and 2 maternity models (though I left before the second one arrived). Here are a couple of the shots I took. (I did not style or pose the newborns; or style the maternity)

It's always a sad time when a client (and also a friend in this case) moves away. I had been taking pictures of this family since their oldest (4years) was born. But sadly they moved out of state right after their third child was born. I was able to do his newborn pictures before they left (one pictured below). How cute is he in the police outfit just like his daddy.
I was so excited when I got the call that the family was coming back (since the sold their house) and that we could do Mr. {B}'s 6 month pictures! He has changed so much but still looks so much like his big brother and sister. He is such a calm, happy, baby too. I think mom needs to make a trip back here this winter when all the kids have their birthdays!
