The {G} family's fall session
I took a break from blogging for a couple weeks but need to get back on the train as I still have a bunch of sessions from 2015 to blog! I just love this family. I met the mom when we were in college and I got to be roommates with her for 2 years. And she and her husband (then boyfriend) pretty much helped me and my husband get together! We now both live in the Madison area and her daughter is only 3 months older then my Kaylee. We definitely need to get together more often then what we do! And hopefully I'll photograph them again this summer as a baby BOY joins their family!
The {P} family!
Even though I'm super busy in October doing Fall Mini's, I'm so glad I also make sure to save room for regular family sessions. This one was SO much fun; well it always is when you have a 2 year old, right? I met this family this summer when I did my first newborn model call since I had some new props I wanted to try out and didn't have a baby girl coming around that time. It worked out perfectly because I had a model for my props and mom said she was looking for a photographer. It was meant to be! We then did their family shoot this Fall when little {L} was 3 months old and are doing her 6 month next weekend. I'm excited to see how big she is! And how sweet is this family? I love seeing parents interact with their kids and capturing those moments!
Fall 2015 Mini Sessions!
What a great fall we had, right? Most of my sessions were just the perfect temperature! Fall 2015 Mini Sessions were such a success! The only negative was that my location I had in mind all year for them ended up not having good fall colored trees, so I had to use a location I had used a previous year (though 3 years ago) and it is a little "busier" there then other areas, but oh so gorgeous! My favorite is the "tree tunnel" as I call it. The kids seemed to love it too! Be prepared for a LOT of pics in this post of all the beautiful families that came out for Fall Minis this year!
The {H} Family at State Street!
I'm usually a natural location shooter, but the {H} Family requested we do their session by the Capital and State Street. I'm so glad they did because it was so much fun and I got to capture them in an environment that was special to them (they met at college at UW-Madison)! It also was nice to do something different from I was used to doing, pushing me to grow as a photographer. I'm planning on doing more shoots down there next summer/fall!
Little {L} also had fun at the shoot picking out areas for me to photograph her. She even was the "photographer" for the picture of her mom and dad! (I did have to change my camera to auto focus for her, but SHHHHHH don't tell her! She did so great!)
The {B} Family!
I always enjoy meeting new families. This family has two awesome boys that are so so fun! I couldn't believe how good they were for being 2 and 4 years old! They brought grandma and grandpa to the shoot to jump in a couple too!
