spring mini's
I can't tell you how excited I am that it's the season of outdoor sessions! I love doing studio pictures, but when you are forced to for months on end because it's too cold to go outside, sometimes takes the fun out of it. Now I'll be able to use some creative juices and be inspired by the great outdoors! We kicked off this season with some Spring Mini's. Here's some of my favorites!
Newborn {E}
It is such a privilege when I get repeat clients. Not only have I been photographing Mr{E}'s big sis since she was born, but this family has referred so many of their friends and family. I'm so grateful. I don't do much marketing, so word of mouth goes a long way for me :) I also love when families come back to me so I can see their kids grow and meet new siblings! Little {E} was so adorable and did such a great job during his pictures. He even woke up at the end and gave some great eye contact. He was very wide-eyed when he was awake, but just as adorable!
And when big sis doesn't want to come and take pictures, but will if she can wear the goggles in the play bin, you let her wear goggles! Haha. I just LOVE this picture! We did talk her into taking some pictures without them too :)
Mr{J} Turns 1!
Mr.{J} came to see me a couple months ago (since I'm trying to blog some past sessions since I was not very good about blogging this year). He was so cute but not very into my camera. He gave me many looks like "What are you doing!?!" It's amazing how little 1-year-olds still seem, but really, they already have so much personality and KNOW what they want and like! I loved photographing this little dude's eyes though, whether he was smiling or not!
Newborn {K} and big bro {C}
I am SO bad at blogging but I'm going to try to make sure to do it for every session from here on out (and try to do some past sessions too!). Little {K} came to see me for her newborn pics a couple weeks ago. She's so beautiful! Her big bro also came for some 2 year pics. It was fun seeing him because I did his newborn pictures! He was such a cutie and full of personality! He was very excited to be a big brother and was already very protective. As I got set ups ready for his little sister, he'd motion for me get his sister, and wanted me to bring things over for her. He did so well during the sibling and family shots and kept on kissing her! It sure was fun to see a 2-year-old be that into a new sibling!
The {B} family's Maternity&Newborn shoot - Sun Prairie maternity and newborn photographer
I love having return clients, it's the best compliment you can give a photographer. I've been able to do maternity pics for this family when they were expecting their almost 3 year old. Then I continued to photograph this family for the past three years and now got to do their maternity and newborn pictures of their little man! It is so much fun to be able to see a family grow! Here are their maternity pic, and below I'll post Mr {B}'s newborn photos.
And Mr {B} came to me at 11 days new and he did so well. He wasn't a fan of being posed at first, but then slept nicely, even though he still was strong willed about keeping his fingers in a fist. He's cute, so I let it go :)
